I just watched this one despite the fact I don't ski, hate the snow, cold ...
For some reason I like ski movies. It started with my kid brothers copy of The Blizzard of Ahhh's, ironically referenced in this documentary.
This is a very good documentary on extreme skiing, its origins and the personalities that shaped it. The skiing footage is awesome, the interviews interesting and believe it or not a couple of points I was caught off guard.

This movie received some pretty heavy word of mouth and internet hype. Apparently Will Ferrell laughed his ass off and watched a tone of times. This is what made me want to see it, that and I love martial arts so I figured it was a win win.

I can't pinpoint exactly what I liked about this flick, but I did. It's not as funny as the trailer makes it out to be. It is funny but not in a slapstick way, as you might expect from Seann William Scott.

I was sent the trailer for this movie when it was first being premiered. Based on the title I knew I had to see it purely for the laughs. It took a while before it became available since it never even came close to showing in my area.

When I first saw the trailer for this documentary I really wanted to see it but it never made it to my area.
Now that it has come out on DVD I screened it in my theater, and it was worth the wait.
I'm a fitness guy, NSCA member, train Muay Thai ... so the content speaks to me but I really think a wider audience will and should be interested in it.
