It’s a bachelors life

I was sent the trailer for this movie when it was first being premiered. Based on the title I knew I had to see it purely for the laughs. It took a while before it became available since it never even came close to showing in my area.

I fully expected it to be cheese, fromage, a bad B movie with even worse acting but I have to say I really liked it. It is a B movie, and it knows it, embraces that fact and as a result is a great flick.

Jeannie: You’re fucking dead!
Kat: I was, but now I’m back!
Sox: Not possible. This is not possible.
Lillith: How does it feel?
Kat: Great. I’ve never felt more alive!
Gaia: Oh sweet irony!
Lillith: Hey, where are you going?
Kat: I’m going to dance.

Come on, with lines like that what’s not to love.

The acting isn’t stellar (Jenna’s acting skills are limited to porn) but the special effects (gore) are really good, better than some “quality” horror films. The plot of a zombie getting loose and infecting strippers isn’t going to win any writing awards but it has its funny points, and thankfully Tito is only in it for a brief moment and he portrays what he actually is – watch it and you’ll understand.

I think it’s the fact that the movie doesn’t try to be an Oscar candidate but a really good B move, making fun of other B movies and embracing the cheese that they are.

If you want a shut your brain off, kinda funny, kinda horror movie with boobs this is the one. I give it a well worth the 90 minutes.
